Lake Placid OTC

By Brian Gregg
After a long drive on Sunday and Monday the team is now all at the Olympic Training Center in Lake Placid. This is my favorite camp of the year. Many of our workouts start from the training center, and down the hall is a full service dining room as well as an ice bath the size of a small pool. Work started today with 7*4min intervals up Keene Valley at 6-10mmol. This is one of the first interval sessions where there really hasn’t been a cap placed on how hard/fast we could go. Most of us were a bit over 10mmol but it felt good to really push it. Not to mention it was nice to legitimately need to V1.  The entire team is now here, although Watt just arrived after spending the night in the airport and taking a bus up this morning.
